I love fancy Q's! they have the best sushi on the island at the most reasonable prices! A lovely couple owns this restaurant and they're very solicitous of their guests, always having a servant's heart and eager to please ! everything is fresh and delicious.... my favorite place for sushi

We love coming to Fancy Q every year when we take our annual trip to SSI. Staff is always nice. We try to get a table on the patio and it’s just a nice atmosphere. The food and the price can’t be beat. I’m a basic sushi eater and had the shrimp tempura and the Tokyo roll and they were great. I recommend the lunch special which you can mix and match any two of three rolls with soup and salad. They also bring a complimentary fried crab appetizer at the beginning that is absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely see you guys next year.

One of my favorite sushi restaurants of all time. Whenever I visit Glynn I have to stop by at least once. The owner, Betty, is an absolute doll and the staff is friendly. All meals come with an Eddie's special sushi appetizer and soup. I tend to always get sushi so I'm biased, but the other menu items are good too (my grandparents love the hibachi). Definitely check out the specials board!

My absolute favorite seafood restaurant great staff and food

Some of the best sushi I've found in all of Georgia. Awesome customer service, chic Japanese decor, great prices, and fantastic food quality. Their lunch specials take affordable prices and make them even more affordable.

Attentive service, a nice welcome appetizer, decent sake, and super fresh sushi all added up to a stellar dinner experience.

Just went here for the first time after eating at the one in Brunswick every visit. I must say, this is a great restaurant. The sushi is fantastic along with the Eddie Special. Really great food. Prices are stiff, but it's a sushi joint on an island.

This is our favorite place to go when we visit St. Simons. The food is delicious and the staff is awesome. We will visit this place and dine in each time we visit. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Great sushi! The staff was kind while we tried to order our food assisting us with recommendations. They provided a fantastic appetizer. I believe these is a chain of similar sushi restaurants because the restaurant Sushi Q in Elkridge MD serves the exact same appetizer complementary. The chicken teriyaki was also great.

Not sure if they get their seafood locally but man if it wasn't good! I love all the complicated specialty rolls they had, and their sake was top notch!My recommendation for sushi if you're not picky is to find the longest description and go for it!The only thing that wasn't great was their cream cheese in their philly roll. Wayyyyy too much.

Always a great experience at this place! Our waiter Friday night was awesome!! Very knowledgeable about the menu and suggesting the best sushi to try. I tried the Highway 17 roll with extra spicy mayo and it was DELICIOUS. Can’t wait for my next trip back!

Wow what a great little restaurant!!! I can't say enough wonderful things about the great service we got! Our server was funny, witty and checked on us often. The food was really good and prepared perfectly. Highly, highly recommend!!

Sooo good - both food and service! From the mini appetizer they gave us to the soup, steak, shrimp, scallops, and multiple sushi rolls our table had, we loved it all.

Great service, great sushi. I have heard the hibachi is really good too. I love most all of the specialty rolls, but my favorites are the surf and turf and the dragon roll.

I absolutely love going here. The food is delicious and Japanese food is my favorite type of food. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. They have delicious varieties of all types of sushi as well as different types of hibachi and teriyaki dishes. The atmosphere is really cool as well. It reminds me of one of those little restaurants tucked in a building in some area of Manhattan.

Fancy Q is one of my favorite sushi restaurants anywhere. They do also have a hibachi menu. It’s just really well prepared me delicious sushi. It’s a small place and can get crowded during the peak hours, but you can call in orders to go and just pick it up. Either way, you’ll be glad you made the trip.

Since moving to Brunswick in 2014 this has easily ranked in my top 3 restaurants of ALL time and I love, love, love food. I literally CRAVE this place, from the Eddie special, to the rolls you won't see any place else (I'd recommend #10 & 11), and yes I've had the boat before!!!!

I wish I could give more than 5 Stars! Betty was incredibly friendly and accommodating. There were 10 in our group, and she was quick with drinks and refills, our food order was correct and brought out in perfect timing. The sushi was absolutely delicious. We’ve been to a lot of sushi restaurants in a lot of different towns, and this is definitely at the top, if not the top, of the best places we’ve ever been. We will be back! (My 7year old son says he would give it 100stars!)

We ordered takeout and everything was delicious and fresh. The sushi is absolutely excellent. An absolute must!

I followed the reviews to Fancy Q. My first impression upon walking in- a server very rudely staring at me (I'm a woman with a shaved head) while I waited to be seated. He finally snapped out of it then came to seat us. I requested the Autumn Roll and a special one ingredient roll- no big deal, right? I'll give this one to a possible language barrier but that one ingredient was inside the Autumn Roll. Instead of offering to make another, the server said, "it's okay, right?". The miso came after our meal with apologies. My guy's roll was small and sloppy. The restaurant wasn't busy while we dined and seemed to be well staffed. The food was average- 3 stars- but because I couldn't wait to leave, I probably should be giving 2 stars.

We’ve eaten at Fancy ‘Q’ for for ten plus years! I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed the place!!The food is good and the service is friendly. Betty, the owner, calls us by name. Now, that is really rare but it makes you feel appreciated. We’ll be there for dinner tonight.

Great Sashimi and a very clean place. The owners are very friendly and professional. The fountain outside is a nice touch to the covered patio.

Very quick friendly staff, we we're given a sample of the fried crab followed by a bowl of clear or miso soup. Main dishes followed at a good time after finishing soup! I had the Dragon Roll and Edemame and both were perfect and had wonderful presentation.

Best sushi in Glynn County!

They give you an ample amount of delicious food for reasonable prices. When I say delicious I mean delicious. Most importantly, the service is impeccable. Not only does the food keeps us coming back, we enjoy the service. They are welcoming and greet you with a smile. I don't care how packed they are, the service is outstanding. I simply love Fancy Q.

Great sushi! Came here for a light meal and got a fantastic spicy salmon roll. Service was great and it's a nice, clean place to eat. My husband and I had a great time! If we lived closer would definitely be a regular place for us!

Very good sushi, the staff are very nice and the owner is one of my favorite people.

I enjoyed it for what it was, but it was not what I expected in experience. I enjoy sushi joints that I can purchase a roll or half roll for lower prices and continue doing so going down the menu to taste as much as possible from what that restaurant has to offer. I just didn't have that experience here.

We eat here multiple times every time we come to Saint Simons. The clear soup, hibachi and tempura are great, as is their fresh, delicious sushi!!
